Right of residence for EU citizens

• booking of time to visit the Police and Border Guard Board (if possible)
• accompanying the client during their visit to the Police and Border Guard Board for submission of the application for the Right of residence in Estonia
• issuing of a power of attorney in Police and Border Guard Board to receive the client’s document (if required by the client)
• receiving the client’s document according to the issued power of attorney

• Accompanying the client to a local municipality for registration in the Population register and obtaining Estonian ID code (if not yet available)
• Retrieving the ID document based on the power of attorney (hourly rate)

• The applicant must be a citizen of the EU or EEA country or Switzerland.
• The applicant must have a valid registration in the Population register.
• The applicant must have a valid Estonian ID code.

Compilation of documents takes around 5 business days.
